The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), recently decided to put smiles on the faces of students at the at Eruku Secondary Commercial School in Ekiti LGA, Kwara State as they built and commissioned a fully furnished and equipped block of science laboratories.
According to the Managing Director of Shell, Bayo Ojulari, supporting science projects in Nigeria is aimed at helping the Nigerian youths and supporting the government at providing quality education facility.
“SNEPCo supported science laboratories project aims to help Nigerian youths and support the government to provide high quality educational facilities in public schools,” he said.
Meanwhile, students, Principal and parents of the school has commended SNEPCo and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for donating the four well-equipped Ultra-Modern science laboratories to the school.
The oil company believes that donating the equipment to the school will promote the teaching and learning of science subjects and provide a conducive learning environment to stimulate students’ interest.
On behalf of Eruku community, the Owa of Eruku- Oba Busari Amuludunloye appreciated SNEPCo and the NNPC for providing world-class science facilities that will aid the teaching and learning of science in Eruku and environs.
