Diamond Bank Plc has joined the league of those kicking against to consumption of any form of substance which is not healthy for the body and to achieve this aim, they the Lagos State Kicks Against Drug Abuse (LASKADA) awareness campaign.

The campaign is in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development which is aimed at sensitisation the youths on the needs to do away with drug abuse.

Diamond Bank stated that about 60% of the population in Lagos State are Nigerian youths as they are the most vulnerable group as far as substance abuse is concerned.

The bank took the LASKADA campaign to Vetland Senior Grammar School, Oko-Oba, Lagos, where they have been talking extensively on substance consumption.

LASKADA train will be moving to about 50 schools across Lagos State for the first phase of the Drug Abuse sensitization programme according to the bank.
