COVID-19: NCDMB Donates 2 Ambulances, Ventilators to Bayelsa Govt.

As part of support to combat the spread of Coronavirus in the country, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and PETAN has distributed two ambulances and other #COVID-19 Relief Materials to Bayelsa State.

The COVID19 medical items donated to Bayelsa State includes two ambulances, Synovent E3 Ventilators, Infra- Red Thermometers, Medical Face Shields, Sanitizers, Hospital beds, Disposable coveralls, other personal protective equipment (PPEs) and relief items.

Engr. Wabote Simbi FNSE who spoke through Mr. Patrick Obah said, the materials procured by NCDMB and PETAN is to help the Bayelsa State Government fight the deadly Covid-19 pandemic in the state.

In his response, the Secretary to the State Government, Rt Hon. Konbowei Benson thanked and commended Engr. Simbi Wabote and the entire management of the Board for the show of love and support at this difficult time.

He further said it is truly in crisis that you will know your true friends. He said the state government will use the materials donated by the Board to fight the deadly coronavirus and keep the virus out of the state.

The items which were delivered on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Engr. Wabote Simbi, FNSE by the Director, PRS NCDMB, Mr. Patrick Obah was received by the Secretary to the Bayelsa state government, Rt Hon. Konbowei Benson at the state Banquet hall, Yenagoa.
