Coca-Cola Suspend Ads, Donates Over $120 million to support COVI-19 relief

The Coca-Cola Company Nigeria, has decided to suspend its adverts for a while as a way of helping solve the COVID-19 challenges ravaging the country and the world in general.

The company started that with effect from April, every advert of the brand and its other brands will be put on hold to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people and communities.

“From April and until further notice, we’re putting commercial advertising of Coca-Cola and all our brands on hold. Our focus at this time is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people and communities,” the company wrote.

Coca-Cola went on to disclose that they are donating over 120 million dollars to support COVI-19 relief and response efforts in the affected communities.

“The Coca-Cola Company, our bottling partners and the Coca-Cola Foundation are donating over 120 million dollars to support COVI-19 relief and response efforts in the affected communities.

“In the immediate, we are working with our NGO partners to provide support towards COVID-19 communication, provision of protective kits and drinks for health workers.

“We’re doing this because it’s the right thing to do and because we know that by working together we can make a difference,” the company noted.
