Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Ashimolowo Host First Kings University Convocation

Kings University, Ode-Omu, Osun State, is proud to have held its first convocation ceremony, which saw the school applauding the tenacity of its latest and first produced graduates of the institution.

The University which was founded by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), and also the Chancellor, during his speech took time to admonish the students to using their studies to make impact in the country.

He stated that even though the labour market in the country is high, the new graduates can actually make a good living for themselves if they think outside the box.

In his words, “Have clearly defined visions that will define your pathway to success. If you do not, you could be tempted to imitate. Dare to create a future without waiting for others. If you don’t, they will define you. Make obstacles your ladder to greatness: No one reaches a high position without daring

“Dare to step out of the box of “the regular”. Quoting the words of H. Jackson Brown; “people take different roads seeking fulfilment and happiness. Just because they’re not on your road, doesn’t mean they’ve gotten lost “.

The convocation which took place at the school’s auditorium saw some personalities in attendance like the General Overseer of the Christliving Spring Apostolic Ministries, Pastor Wole Oladiyun, as he is a member, Board of Trustees.

Pastor Wole, who has always been a strong lover of academics, believes that I children could get the right opportunity to study, the environment will very conducive for all as they are the ones that will take after the country when the parents are not there.
