The Nigerian Government is not joking with its various rules and regulations in the country as they recently came hard on Flair Aviation, a United Kingdom company.
One of the company’s aircraft was recently impounded by the Nigerian government for operating a commercial flight as against the approval for humanitarian operations.
Nigeria’s Aviation minister, Hadi Sariki, disclosed this via his social media handle stating that the crew are interrogated as there will be maximum penalty.
According to the Minister, “COVID-19. Flair Aviation, a UK company, was given approval for humanitarian operations but regrettably we caught them conducting commercial flights. This is callous! The craft is impounded, crew being interrogated. There shall be maximum penalty. Wrong time to try our resolve!”
