Lagos state

When it comes to tourism, the Lagos state government have been able to create an enabling environment for visitors to come and it has been paying off in its little way.

As a reward of its efforts at promoting tourism, Lagos State bagged two Awards as the Most Active Tourism State in Nigeria and as the Y2017/2018 MICE City at the Abuja JAHAMA Tourism Awards held on Friday 16th November, at the International Conference Center, Abuja.

The Award was received on behalf of the State by Mr Fola Adeyemi, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and Mrs Folasade Fasehun, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development.

The presentation was done by Otunba Segun Runsewe, Director General National Council for Arts and Culture with other tourism stakeholders
