Gbenga Ogunbote unveiled as next Enugu Rangers manager

Nigeria Professional Football League side, Enugu Rangers have unveiled Gbenga Ogunbote as their new manager as they prepare for the 2017/18 league season which will kick off in a yet to be announced date by the organisers.

Having won the Nigerian topflight title two seasons ago, the Flying Antelopes finished 14th on the table with 53 points – just three points above relegated teams, and the management of the club are hoping to perform better in the coming league season.

Ogunbote on the other hand helped Enyimba to third place finish on the NPFL log to qualify for one of the two Caf Confederation Cup slots, while Akwa United claimed the second slot after winning the maiden edition of the Aiteo Cup.
