It’s been a big week for the Youth Leader of the All Nigerian Youths Reoriented Initiative, Olufemi Ajadi, who recently turned a year older but due to the covid-19 challenges, he has announced the postponement of any gathering and celebration associated with his birthday to another year.
Ajadi stated that there was need to postpone the celebration in other to respect government directives towards social gathering and to also protect lives due to the growing cases of the COVID-19.
The celebrant in his statement on Monday 20th July, 2020. Said, he appreciates God for the gift of life, “In the spirit of each of us caring for one another during this unprecedented moment, we must all be willing to do what ordinarily we would not do.
“This is particularly true when it comes to acts of social distancing and other precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.”
“In adherence to the instructions given by government there will be no public gathering celebration for my birthday” he said.
Being the philanthropist that he is, he urged all well-wishers to donate whatever gifts intended for him to their neighbours, or to whomever they know may be in need at this difficult moment in their various communities.
The leader noted that he usually celebrates his birthdays with gatherings of family and friends where people mingled in proximity, however, the precarious situation of things have called for a change.
